BOARD OF MENTORS:
Dinesh Goswami is an advocate and a jurist practising at the Supreme Court Of India. With more than thirty years of experience, he has numerous landmark judgements under his belt. He was designated as a senior lawyer by the Allahabad High Court in 2019. The Woke Lawyer is honoured to have him as a mentor. His experience and expertise will surely be beneficial to the Organization.
Necer Edine Ziouani holds a bachelor's degree in political sciences and international relations from the University of Algiers, Algeria and a Master’s degree in Strategic and Arms Control Studies from Saint Petersburg State University, Russia. His Master's study mainly focused on disarmament and non-proliferation, as well as military doctrines and strategies. His research focuses on the non-proliferation and control of weapons of mass destruction. He is an advocate of arms control and conflict prevention. Currently, he is a trainee at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). He is a member of the CTBTO Youth Group that works to promote the total ban of nuclear tests, for both civilian and military purposes.
L.K. Giri is an advocate and a designated mediator at the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court Of India. Along with his numerous achievements, L.K. Giri has also served as the Nominated Member Executive of the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA). We are incredibly grateful to have him on our board of mentors.
Neha Dewan is an expert in International Relations and Security, focusing on South Asian politics. She is a Consultant at the UNESCO New Delhi Cluster Office, mandated to cover South Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Nepal. Neha is the Chair of the Indian Women in International Relations (IWIR) Forum. She is also a Non-Resident Fellow at TRENDS Research Advisory, Abu Dhabi, and a Non- Resident Fellow and Political Affairs Officer at Global Policy Insights (GPI). She also heads The Commonwealth Project at GPI as the Project Lead and is the Research Coordinator for the Artificial Intelligence & Public Policy Programme.
We are elated to have Mr Satish Kumar in the Board of Mentors at The Woke Lawyer. He is presently an Advocate at the Delhi High Court. He has graduated from the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law. His area of expertise is civil law. Mr Satish Kumar shall play an extremely important role as a Mentor at The Woke Lawyer.
Garv Malhotra brings forth significant expertise in the legal field and shall be an invaluable asset to The Woke Lawyer. He has completed his legal education from the Gujarat National Law University, the National University of Singapore and the CIDS Geneva Centre for International Dispute Settlement. He has been an Advocate and Associate Counsel at the Supreme Court of India, an international lawyer at Drew and Napier LLC and a Managing Associate at Collyer Law LLC. We are delighted to have him on board with The Woke Lawyer.
Prashant Mishra completed his education from Symbiosis International University, Pune, and has been working in a professional capacity since. He has served as Panel Counsel at Vijaya Bank and Delhi Transco Ltd. He has served as a Proprietor at Artis Legal Associates and a Head Consultant for Basil Resources Pvt. Ltd. He has also served as a Senior Associate at Prompt Legal. We are thrilled to have his experience and knowledge at The Woke Lawyer.
Dr. Arun Gupta is Associate Professor and Vice Principal of School of Law at IIMT. He has been awarded doctorate in banking laws on “Role of SARFAESI Act, 2002 in Treatment of NPAs: Problems and Prospects. He was Additional Counsel Central Government (Union of India) for the matters pertaining to the Central Government. He was also empanelled lawyer for National Minority Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC).
